iSAQB® CPSA-A - Domain-Driven Design (Course)

Description

Attending the iSAQB® CPSA-A Domain-Driven Design (DDD) course gives participants 20 Methodological Competence (MC) and 10 Communicative Competence (CC) Points towards the 70 points required for eligibility for the iSAQB CPSA-A exam with Brightest. It is important to remember that as part of the 70 points required to take the iSAQB CPSA-A exam with Brightest, you will need at least ten competence points in each of the following areas: 

  • Technical Competence (TC)
  • Methodological Competence (MC)
  • Communicative Competence (CC)

 

Accredited iSAQB® DDD - Domain-Driven Design (CPSA-A) training is based on the current iSAQB® curriculum:

Part 1 - Domain, Model, and Ubiquitous Language

  • Introduction to DDD (Domain-Driven Design)
  • Development of a technical language-based ubiquitous language between developers and domain experts
  • Modules
  • The Entity, Value Object, Aggregate, Service

Part 2 - The Way to the Model

  • Empowering domain experts
  • Collaboration formats for model collection
  • Model height tools
  • Modeling techniques (use cases, user stories, and domain events)

Part 3 - From Model to Application

  • Modeling for professional courses
  • The ability of DDD to extend a domain model with technically motivated building blocks
  • Knowing and considering the interactions between an application and its model

Part 4 - Model in Application Architecture

  • Architectural styles chosen to specialize in, and domain model integration
  • Ability to formulate the links and boundaries between DDD, BDD, and WAM

Part 5 - Intersecting and Plotted Models

  • Ability to weigh the pros and cons of a cross-team model 
  • Bounded context and the ability to define a context map 
  • Ability to design a system as an Open Host Service (OHS)

Part 6 - Maintain Native Model Consistency

  • Understand how CI can contribute to native model consistency
  • Ability to isolate the model from external influences

Target Audience

The CPSA-A  Domain-Driven Design seminar is particularly valuable for professionals who want to design a domain-related architecture with domain experts and developers, utilizing relevant strategic and tactical design principles.

Requirements

To join any iSAQB® CPSA - Advanced Level course, you must hold the iSAQB® Certified Professional for Software Architecture - Foundation Level (CSPA-F) certificate.

 

Knowledge prerequisites:

Participants should have the following prerequisite knowledge:

  • Fundamentals and advanced concepts of object-oriented software development
  • Experience in modeling object-oriented architectures

Knowledge in the following areas may help understand some concepts covered in this course:

  • Knowledge of agile software development methods, such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
  • Experience in collaboration between business experts and software developers.
