AU - CSAT

AU Certified Specialist in Agile Testing

Description

Agile United - Certified Specialist in Agile Testing  (AU - CSAT) is a three-day intensive, hands-on and interactive training for those who have successfully taken the AU-CPAT course or have passed the AU-CPAT exam and are looking for more in-depth knowledge and experience working in an agile environment.

This training is designed to help you develop skills and knowledge to flourish as a tester in an Agile context and grow your career in the testing & quality field. In this course, we focus this on the skills required to lead or manage a team (Leadership). In this course, we'll also dive into the concept of "damage" and how to deal with any potential damage. We'll also go through the values and risks associated with a "bug hunt", for example, when are they most beneficial and when should they be done. We'll also dive into the world of exploratory testing to gain a better understanding of sequences and interactions.

Together we will also explore the importance of visualization and when and why it's most beneficial. We also explore the interpersonal relations and the concept of "bias" and "internal reality biases". Being aware of the different forms of biases and how they influence our thoughts and therefore decisions, helps us to actively work towards working environments and even products that are not in some way prejudice or built from an unfavorable perspective. These also lead into the part of the course about negotiations where we can analyze behaviors and stances which can be used to avoid larger issues which can be detrimental to a team.

Target Audience

Agile United - Certified Specialist in Agile Testing  (AU - CSAT)  has been designed for anyone how has successfully passed the AU-CPAT exam and is looking to further improve their knowledge, people skills, agile skills, testing skills and technology skills by taking a hands-on and interactive training course. Requirements

In order to be successful throughout this course and in your exam, it is highly recommended that you already hold the AU-CPAT certificate or have at least 3 years of experience working in an agile envorinment. For this course it is important also to have first experience in a leadership role or interest in becoming a leader, as we will focus a lot on the softskills required to successfully run a productive agile team.

Just as a reminder from the AU-CPAT requirements, it is highly recommended that you also hold the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) and potentially as well the ISTQB CTFL-Agile Tester Certificates - as this course will not cover the fundamentals and terminology of Testing and Agile.
