TMMi® Test Process Improver is a qualification that can be granted by Brightest on behalf of the TMMi Foundation to candidates who have demonstrated competence and knowledge in four key areas:

The TMMi Model
Testing processes, roles, and practices
Process improvement
Process assessments

Target Audience

TMMi® Test Process Improver is a qualification is aimed at anyone involved in using the TMMi model who wishes to have an official stamp of achievement next to their test process improvement knowledge. Holders of this qualification have a proven track record in software quality and the implementation and assessment thereof.

Requirements

Criteria 1 (Holding Industry-Supported Certifications):

Required: ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL)
Required: TMMi® Professional
+ 2 further certifications that demonstrate in-depth testing knowledge.
- anything in the ISTQB portfolio beyond CTFL
- any hands-on testing-related United certification in the Brightest portfolio
  - Agile United: AU-CPAT (Certified Practitioner in Agile Testing) AU-CSAT (Certified Specialist in Agile Testing) AU-CAPT (Certified Automation Practitioner in Agile Testing)
  - Artificial Intelligence United: AiU_GenAiA-TE (GenAI-Assisted - Test Engineer)
  - API United: API-CARMT (Certified API, REST, and Microservices Tester with Postman)
  - Data & Analytics United: DAU-CDAT (Certified Data & Analytics Tester)
  - DevOps United: DOu-CTD-FL (Certified Tester in DevOps - Foundation Level)
  - Cloud United: CU-CTP (Cloud Test Practitioner) CU-CMTS (Cloud Migration Test Specialist) CU-CIaCTS (Cloud Infrastructure as Code Test Specialist) CU-CTiPS (Cloud Testing in Production Specialist) CU-CNATS (Cloud Native App Test Specialist)
  - Performance Testing United: PtU-CPTJM (Certified Performance Tester with JMeter)
  - Selenium United: SeU-CSE_Java (Certified Selenium Engineer with Java) SeU-CSE_Py (Certified Selenium Engineer with Python)
  - User Experience United: UXU-UXCA (User Experience Certified Ambassador)

Criteria 2 (Process Assessment Knowledge/Experience):

Process assessment knowledge and skills can be demonstrated in various ways, including:

holding accredited TMMi Assessor or TMMi Lead Assessor status.
holding accredited SCAMPI (Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement) Appraiser or Lead Appraiser status.
holding the ISTQB Expert Level Improving the Testing Process – Part 1: Assessing Test Process certificate.
successfully attended a TMMi assessor course with a recognized TMMi training provider.
assisted, for at least 24 hours, with an informal TMMi assessment led by an accredited TMMi assessor or a formal TMMi assessment led by an accredited TMMi lead assessor.
